Recently Ranbir Kapoor in a conversation with a close friend stated that reading Albert Camus’ bestseller ‘The Outsider‘ gave him a unique perspective on himself. After reading that novel he has changed his nature and behaviour.
The novel is based on a apathetic character, so much so that he does not cry at his own mother’s funeral and commits a murder soon after. Reading a novel has an impact on every reader and so it has impacted on heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor.
According to the reports, Ranbir Kapoor in his conversation with his friends said that he does not give a damn anymore about anything. He identify with ‘The Outsider’. “ I think I am him. I could not put the book down and read it in six days straight. I also don’t cry anymore. I cannot remember the last time I cried. I am hoping I get to play this character on the big screen since I identify with him.”
On the work front, the actor recently promoted his upcoming film Bombay Velvet scheduled to release next month. Currently Ranbir Kapoor is on a romantic holiday with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif at Maldives.
