'Not 4 hour long'
The film is not four hour long. Instead the actor also clarified that the film is only about 2 hrs 19 minutes long. He also believes with the trailer release, the promotions and the marketing plans that the team has in mind, people will get enticed to the film.
'My father has not seen my film yet'
Along with the rumours of the long duration of BV, there have also been speculations that Ranbir's dad Rishi Kapoor too did not like the film. But when asked about it, Ranbir rubbished all such claims. He revealed that Senior Kapoor doesn't watch his films before release and does not even attend trials, because he does not want to give strong opinions about any of his films.
'I have watched the film'
The actor has recently watched the film and has loved it. He also said that although there have been conjectures that the team did not like what came out and re-shot the film, Ranbir feels totally put all such rumours to rest.
'Bombay Velvet is not over-budgeted'
Along with all the other probable reasons for the delay floating around, news of the film going over budget was also doing the rounds. Ranbir also clarified calling all such rumours baseless. The actor also confirmed that the film has been shot over 80 days in Sri Lanka and has definitely not exceeded their budget.
With the first look posters of the film catching frenzy, Bombay Velvet's trailer is anticipated now. The film that also stars Anushka Sharma and Karan Johar is slated for a May 15 release.
